  • How long do I need to prepare?
    If you are a new candidate to the skills, we would suggest a minimum of 5 months.
  • What is the NDECC Skills?
    The NDECC is a two component assessment comprising of clinical skills on one day and situational judgement on the other day. The clinical skills exam requires the candidate to pass 8 assessments, one of which is infection control. The remaining 7 assessments are dental procedures (restorations and preparations) completed on plastic teeth. The exam is held in Ottawa and the candidate has 8 hours to complete the projects.

  • What is the NDEB application process?
    This is the first step that all foreign-trained dentists must complete if you planning to become a dentist in Canada. You should start this step as soon as possible even if you haven't completely figured out your immigration process. The steps are: ​ 1. Open an NDEB account 2. Send the required documents 3. Wait for approval

  • How do I edit or remove the “FAQ” title?
    You can edit the title from the Settings tab in the app. If you don’t want to display the title, simply disable the Title under “Info to Display”.
