why did we choose no considerations in pt. management in patients taking valproic acid for epilepsy and pts, taking prednisone. Shouldnt we do anxiety reduction protocol as both of these conditions can precipitate , Status epilipticus and adrenal insufficiency

There is no justification to choose anxiolytics all the time. Stress reduction protocol is not equal to anxiolytics. There are many non-pharmacological and pharmacological techniques to reduce stress. We therefore don't encourage choosing it when they don't push you. We don't feel its safe despite the valid conversation. If you feel its safe, then you can definitely choose it in the exam
